A full breakfast is served each morning to inn room and yurt guests. Some of the ingredients come from our permaculture vegetable garden.
Vegetarian (lacto-ovo, ie. milk eggs) always served. Vegan or Gluten Free Breakfast available with advance notice.
Main dishes vary by season, but they are all sumptuous. Here are a few of our favorites:
Georgia French toast with peaches and cream sauce and toasted pecans
Breakfast strata with sausage and cheese topped with fresh tomatoes
Blueberry French toast casserole
Quiche Lorraine
Sauteed vegetables
Corn Fritters made from fresh corn on the cob corn (in season).
Fresh seasonal fruit
Vegan lemon waffles with blueberry sauce
Traditional eggs
Morningstar Farms Vegetarian Sausage
Fried potatoes or fried apples
Greens with raspberry chipolte sauce (favorite among vegans)
Fresh baked muffins (blueberry, banana, and ginger raisin are favorites)
We use only organic milk and eggs are pasture raised from a farm not too far from the inn (yes we visit the chickens during our egg pick ups). You can see a video of one of our visits.

We also purchase organic free trade coffee.

Herbs from our garden add zest to the breakfast. A permaculture vegetable garden was added in the Fall 2009 using sheet mulching to create soil and swales for rainwater conservation. The garden produces tomatoes, squash, peppers, broccoli, cantaloupes, sweet potatoes, yukon gold potatoes, corn, beans and more. Blueberries, raspberries, peach trees, pears, autumn olives, pomegranites, paw paws, persimmons, cherries, plums and concord grapes were also planted. The garden will be expanded over time to produce more food for the inn and innkeepers. We are also mindful to purchase food that is not in containers/packaging that cannot be recycled.
