One of our greatest features is our location. We are conveniently located on Highway 19 North approximately 6 miles from the historic Dahlonega square.

Directions to Cedar House Inn & Yurts

From Atlanta:

Take GA 400 North to the end of 400 - this is where the divided highway ends (but note the road does continue as Long Branch Rd) and make a left at this light onto Route 19/60 North to Dahlonega. (GA 400 ends, but Longbranch Road begins at this point - so make sure you don't go through the light, but turn left onto Route 60) then stay on Route 60/19 North, and go about 5 miles to the first traffic light and turn right (If you do not turn right at this light you will go into the town square, business 19).

You are now on 19 North, also designated as the Georgia Wine Highway, towards Blairsville/Suches.

Make sure you are on 19 versus business 19. Coming from the south and heading north you will pass a Taco Bell and Eckerds. At Eckerds there is a traffic light. Go straight through the light to the next light which is the highway 19/52 intersection (52 goes to Cleveland). From this light we are approximately 4.5 miles away. Continue north on 19 towards Blairsville/Suches.

Look for Ridley Road (also Wolf Mountain Winery directional sign) which is located on your left from Highway 19 going north. Just past Ridley will be the Mile 16 Marker. We are approximately one mile past Ridley on your left.

When you see Deer Acres street sign on your right we are right around the next curve on your left. Look for our signs. At night look for blue reflectors on our "B and B Entrance" sign. For a Map Quest map showing how to get to Whip O Will Road (our driveway/sign stolen) click MAP.

From South Carolina:

Take I85 Southbound then take Hwy 129 North to Bus. 129 North to Hwy 60 North

From Tennessee:

Take I75 Southbound then take Hwy 52 East

From Birmingham:

Take I-20 East to I-285 North, to GA400 north then follow directions above

From Asheville, NC

Take 74 to Waynesville

At Waynesville go south on 23/74 to Sylva and on to Dillsboro

At Dillsboro go south to Franklin. The road becomes 23/441 at some point

At Franklin take 23/441south into Georgia.

Stay on 23/441. You will pass through Clayton and Tallulah Gorge and get off at the

Hollywood intersection north of Clarksville.

Take a right at the light at the Hollywood intersection. Then take an immediate left. This will take you into Clarksville.

At the square in Clarkesville take a right at the light following any signs that direct you to Cleveland.

Go straight at the light on the square in Cleveland. This will take you to Dahlonega.

At the light at the lake/reservoir in Dahlonega take a right.

We are 4 and a half miles north on the left hand side. (one mile north of Wolf Mountain

Winery signs). The town is to the right at the reservoir light.
