Bus Stop, Now Playing at the Holly Theater

In the middle of a howling Snowstorm, a bus out of Kansas City pulls up at a cheerful roadside diner. All roads are blocked and 4 or 5 weary travelers are going to have to hole up for the night. Among the passengers is Cherie (Played in the movie by Marilyn Monroe), a nightclub chanteuse, with the most to worry about. She's being perused by cowboy named Bo with a ranch in Montana and the romantic methods of a headstrong bull. The stories of the other passengers add dramatic and comic counterpoints to the trials and tribulations of Bo and Cherie.

Music Man at the Holly Theater 7/9-8/2

Stay with us and attend the Music man, the Tony award-winning musical that played on Broadway for 1,375 performances.

Enjoy the story of Harold Hill (played by Michael Arens),a footloose con man who sets out to take advantage of the citizens of a small, turn-of-the-century Iowa town, promising to transform the children into a world-class brass band for a price,
with old accomplice Marcellus Washburn (played by Judson Wright) helping him with the scam. Hill figures he's home free until he is captivated and morally transformed by the townsfolk. Along the way he falls in love with the town's lovely librarian, Marian Paroo (played by Heatherly Nelson), and inspires all with the joy of music.

Director David Rothel has created a glorious production of this warm and tuneful musical set at the height of America's golden age of innocence. Musical director Jeff Daniel, choreographer Krista Tritt, and accompanist Zeke Farley bring to life such classic tunes as "Seventy-Six Trombones," "Marian the Librarian," "Ya Got Trouble," "Goodnight My Someone" and "Till There Was You".

Show Dates are July 9-12, 16-19, 23-26, & 30 - Aug 2nd.
