Full Organic Breakfast at the Inn

We have been serving a full organic breakfast since we opened in 2003 as Dahlonega’s only eco friendly bed and breakfast inn. Our focus on using organic ingredients is driven by the fact that it is good for the environment and healthier for our guests to eat. As innkeepers we also eat organic for the same reasons.

Please Note: Unfortunately due to our small size and licensure restrictions we can only serve breakfast to guests staying at the inn.

Main dishes vary by season, but they are all sumptuous. Here are a few of our favorites:

In 2016 we purchased a vortex water revitalizer to provide structured water for making coffee and tea as well as cooking. The unit is located in the main kitchen and guests are welcome to fill their water bottles with the revitalized water (hydrates better than regular water) to take on hiking and outdoor adventures.

Is breakfast served in the rooms or yurts?

Guests come to the inn dining room for breakfast. During the warmer months breakfast is served in the screen porch dining room at separate tables. During colder months breakfast is served at the large table in the inn dining room.

When is breakfast served?

Typically breakfast is served from 8:30 am to 9:15 am. When guests check in we determine breakfast times. If you are the only guest (typically staying during the weekdays) we can arrange for an earlier or later breakfast as long as you can check out by 11 am. If you leave before 8 am we can arrange for coffee to go.

Will coffee be ready before breakfast for early risers?

Coffee maker is ready to go the night before so early risers can turn it on. Coffee creamer and sugar is available too. Some guests like their early coffee and sit on the patios or in the screen porch dining room.

How is breakfast served?

Breakfast is not served family style or buffet. Each guest plate is plated up individually and brought to your table with orange juice and/or water.

How do you handle special diets?

When making a reservation you will be asked if you have any special diets so that we can shop before you arrive for the ingredients required.
