We have always cared about our personal health and the health of the environment. We encourage guests to do the same. Drinking healthy water is important to overall health.
Recently we learned about vortex structured water and the benefits it has on human health and the environment. After extensive research we decided to purchase a vortex water revitalizer to add to our bar sink at the inn. We now make coffee and hot tea with structured water and serve the water to our guests, drink it ourselves throughout the day, and invite guests to fill their water bottles prior to hiking.
You might be wondering what makes this water special.
First let’s discuss ordinary tap water most people have at their sinks. Municipal water supplies have been pumped out of the ground or taken from lakes and streams. It is fluoridated- chlorinated and then sits in miles of pipes waiting for use by the consumer. Some consider it “dead water” since it has lost the characteristics it once had from the spring. Look at water flowing down a mountain stream. The water is cascading over rocks, creating whirlpools and looking alive. Research has shown that such water is alive compared to municipal water.
So what is vortex structured water? It has a different chemical structure than regular municipal water or many bottled waters. Structured water is not H2O but H3O2*. It is the same type of water found in our cells. It is also found in natural spring water. It provides more effective and better hydration when consumed since it penetrates the cells. Dr Gerald Pollack from the University of Washington is world-renowned in water research and has thoroughly researched structured water and endorses its health benefits.
Structured water has also been shown to help plant growth as well. Farming and vineyard operations have used large water vortexing units for irrigation and have found that plants need less water during drought and have better developed root systems. We have tried using the water on potted plants with good results.
Many Americans do not drink enough water throughout the day and are dehydrated. Water makes up most of our body composition and is important for good health and longevity. Drinking soft drinks, sports drinks and store-bought bottled water has been shown not to be healthy. Bottled water also creates a lot of plastic waste in packaging which is not good for the environment. We have switched to glass water bottles for our personal use to avoid plastic.
