Dahlonega’s July 4th Celebration- Updated 2020

Dahlonega's July 4th fireworks

Do you ever reminisce about the good old days when life was simple and small towns and small town values were the norm? When holidays were celebrated by the community getting together for food and fellowship? Maybe as a child you grew up in a small town and miss July 4th celebrations that included a parade with the high school marching band, watermelon seed spitting contests and music in the park. If you’re longing for a small town 4th or July, then Dahlonega’s July 4th is for you!

Come visit us for Dahlonega’s July 4th celebrations.

Yes, there will be food (hot dogs), hot dog eating contests, face painters, balloon twisters, caricature artists, stilt walkers, jugglers and magicians at Hancock Park near the historic square. Also antique car shows, music concert, an old fashioned home town 4th of July parade and a great fireworks show at dark. Dahlonega’s July 4th celebrations offer something for everyone!

The schedule for the festivities may vary from year to year but always includes the food, parade, music and a spectacular fireworks show at the end of the day.

Due to Covid in 2020 there will be no fireworks but this link gives the latest :https://dahlonegadda.org/events/4th-of-july-family-day-celebration/
